Funded PhD Scholarships in France: Explore Opportunities for Funded Positions

A surge for the development of sustainable processes has recently raised in the current environmental context. As such, electrochemistry has experienced a renewed interest from the chemist’s community. Yet, the electro-mediated synthesis of transition metal complexes remains scarce. Gold has fascinated humanity since the early days of humankind but was considered inert for centuries. Since three decades, gold catalysts have exhibited unique and powerful properties and the field of gold chemistry has thus attracted tremendous attention. This project aims at merging gold and electrochemistry with the main objective to develop novel synthetic approaches to access gold(III) complexes in an eco-efficient manner. We offer: The PhD student will be part of a new collaboration between excellent internationally-recognized research laboratories.
