PPSC SPECIALIZED HEALTHCARE AND MEDICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

1. SENIOR REGISTRAR DEVELOPMENTAL PEDIATRICS:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC.
• Registered with PMDC/PMC
• FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Developmental-Behavioral Paediatrics or equivalent qualification recognized by the
  PMDC/PMC.
• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

2. SENIOR REGISTRAR PAEDIATRIC CARDIAC SURGERY /PAEDIATRIC CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC with post-graduate qualification of FCPS or MS or FRCS or Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Cardiac or Paediatric Cardiovascular or Congenital Cardiac Surgery recognized by PMDC/PMC.
If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC with post-graduate qualification of FCPS or MS or FRCS or Diplomat of
American Board or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC in:

• Cardiac or Cardiac Thoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery with one year experience after post-graduation in
  Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery from an Institution recognized by PMDC/PMC:

OR

• Paediatric Surgery with three years’ experience after post-graduation in the Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or
  Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery from an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

3. SENIOR REGISTRAR ONCOLOGY:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

“MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective specialty) or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical and Dental Council with three years’ post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

4. SENIOR REGISTRAR PAEDIATRIC PULMONOLOGY:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC;
• Registered with PMDC/PMC; and
• FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Pulmonology or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC with one year experience in Paediatric Pulmonology after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) or an International Body from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:

FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC with two years’ experience in Paediatric Pulmonology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

5. SENIOR REGISTRAR PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC;
• Registered with PMDC/PMC; and
• FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Cardiology or equivalent qualification after post-graduation from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC with one year experience in Paediatric Cardiology after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) of an International Body in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:

FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications with two years’ experience in Paediatric Cardiology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

6. SENIOR REGISTRAR PAEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC;
• Registered with PMDC/PMC; and
• FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC with one year experience in Paediatric Intensive Care after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) or an International Body from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:

FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC with two years’ experience in Paediatric Intensive Care after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

7. SENIOR REGISTRAR PAEDIATRIC ENDOCRINOLOGY:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC;
• Registered with PMDC/PMC; and
• FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Cardiology or equivalent qualification after post-graduation from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC with one year experience in Paediatric Cardiology after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) of an International Body in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:

FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications with two years’ experience in Paediatric Cardiology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission

8. SENIOR REGISTRAR PAEDIATRIC NEUROSURGERY:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC.
• Registered with PMDC/PMC
• The following Postgraduate Qualification:
  • FCPS/M.S/FRCS/Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Neurosurgery or equivalent qualification recognized by
    PMDC/PMC.
    OR
  • FCPS/M.S/FRCS/Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC in Paediatric Surgery/General Surgery with one year experience after post graduation in Paediatric Neuro Surgery in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.
    OR
  • FCPS/M.S/FRCS/Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC & Govt. of the Punjab in Neuro Surgery with one year experience after post graduation in Paediatric Neuro Surgery in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

9. SENIOR REGISTRAR PAEDIATRIC ENT:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC;
• Registered with PMDC/PMC; and
• The following Postgraduate Qualification:
  • FCPS/M.S/FRCS/Diplomat American Board in Paediatric E.N.T or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC.
    OR
  • FCPS/M.S/FRCS/Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC in E.N.T with one year experience after postgraduation in Paediatric E.N.T in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

10. SENIOR REGISTRAR PAEDIATRIC CARDIAC INTENSIVE CARE:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC;
• Registered with PMDC/PMC; and
• FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualifications in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine or Paediatric Cardiology, recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission
  showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date.

11. SENIOR REGISTRAR ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY:

PPSC Qualification/Experience:

• BDS, FCPS, MDS or equivalent qualification from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission and possesses of valid registration from PMDC/PMC.

Note:

• Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission showing prescribed qualification issued on or before the closing date.

12. SOFTWARE DEVELOPER:

Qualification/Experience:

• M.Sc. or BS (second division) in Computer Science or Information Technology or Software Engineering from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.
• Four years’ post qualification experience as a Software Developer in public or private sector.

Note:

• Only practical Experience after prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.

13. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR:

Qualification/Experience:

• M.Sc. or BS (second division) in Computer Science or Information Technology or Software Engineering from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.
• Four years’ post qualification experience as a Database Administrator in public or private sector

Note:

• Only practical Experience after prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.

14. STATISTICAL DATA ANALYST:

Qualification/Experience:

• Master’s degree or BS (second division) in Statistic from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission
• Four years’ post qualification experience in the field of Statistics in public or private sector.

Note:

• Only practical Experience after prescribed qualification shall be considered.
• Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.
